The SCG-Oxford Centre of Excellence for Chemistry was named the 2019 winner of the prestigious Industry-Academia Collaboration Prize from the Royal Society of Chemistry.
The Royal Society of Chemistry recognises more than 80 individuals and teams for their exceptional achievements in advancing the chemical sciences through their work in everything from education and research to innovation, policy and volunteering. The Industry-Academia Collaboration Prize recognises outstanding examples of teamwork in promoting innovation through industry-academia partnerships.

The Industry-Academia Collaboration Prize was created in 2004 as the Teamwork in Innovation Award. It was renamed in 2017.
