The SCG – Oxford Centre of Excellence (The CoE) is a vibrant team of scientists spanning the expertise of the University of Oxford to find sustainable solutions for some of our greatest global challenges.
The CoE brings together Oxford University academic staff from across disciplines and acts as a hub for academic-industry collaboration to innovate and discover solutions, to address long-term carbon-neutral targets, help mitigate the effects of global warming, and to benefit society and communities with a passion for a better world. The mission of the CoE is to foster and encourage ground-breaking collaborations between University researchers working at the frontiers of knowledge to carry out world-leading research that could assist SCG in meeting their strategic objectives.
We have five strategic research themes: Circular Economy, Carbon Dioxide Management, Green Hydrogen, Low Carbon Feedstocks, and Materials for Environmental Sustainability.
The CoE seeks to foster and advance collaborations as well as leveraging our partner’s influence to increase our impact. We are always interested in discussing support for existing projects, as well as exploring new projects and collaborations that draw on expertise from across the collegiate University and beyond.
