Yang’s research interests lie in the development of electrochemical devices to advance carbon neutrality. His work spans multiple scales of electrochemical systems, including the design and synthesis of electrocatalysts, electrode fabrication, and the assembly and testing of devices. In Dec 2024, Yang joined the group, focusing on the development of PV-driven water electrolysis systems. Prior to this, he earned his PhD from the University of Birmingham and later worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Loughborough University.
