DPhil Student
Simone Merotto before joining Pasta Research Group as a DPhil in Materials at the University of Oxford, pursued his bachelor’s studies at Politecnico di Milano in Milan, Italy and his master’s studies at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. Under the supervision of Mauro Pasta, Simone is currently working on fluoride-ion mass transport and corrosion in fluoride-ion batteries (FIBs). When not doing research in electrochemistry, he could usually be found reading economics books, with a marked interest in economic crisis.
